As with all nanoporous ( instant dry) coated media, Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl can be susceptible to "gas fading" caused by environmental conditions and air borne pollutants. Protect your printed photo images by lamination or by putting them under glass. In a protected display and away from direct sunlight, your photo images have a life expectancy of up to 10 years when printed on a dye-based printer. Expect 30+ years when printing on a pigment ink desktop printer.
